US Navy 9-Inch Dahlgren of USS Brooklyn in Oakland, New Jersey
A US Navy 9-Inch Dahlgren and a US Navy 8-Inch Shell Gun of 6,500 Pounds are displayed at Veterans Park in Oakland, New Jersey. Many thanks to friend of the page Parmesan Chee for sharing these photos!
The two guns are:
US Navy 9-Inch Dahlgren Number 1162 which was manufactured by Fort Pitt Foundry in 1864. It served upon the veteran steam sloop Brooklyn from August of 1870 to July of 1876.
US Navy 8-Inch Shell Gun of 6,500 Pounds Number 172 which was manufactured at Cyrus Alger & Company in 1866. As manufactured it weighed 6,460 pounds.
US 13-Inch Seacoast Mortar in Ringwood, New Jersey
A US 13-Inch Mortar, Pattern 1861, is displayed at Ringwood Manor in New Jersey. The mortar was cast in 1861 at Fort Pitt Foundry. It is marked registry number 27 and foundry number “706”. It weighs 17,100 pounds. It is mounted on an original carriage. Many thanks to friend-of-the-page Nat Sooy for taking and sharing these photos!
US Army 20-Inch Rodman at Fort Hancock
A US Army 20-Inch Rodman is displayed at Fort Hancock at Sandy Hook, New Jersey. This was the second 20-Inch Rodman cast - it bears the registry number “2” on the muzzle. It was cast at Fort Pitt Foundry in 1869 and weighed 115,100 pounds as cast.

13-Inch Mortars in Phillipsburg, New Jersey
Four US 13-Inch Mortars, Pattern 1861, are displayed in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. Three may be found around a monument in the town square. Another is found in the nearby St. Phillip and St. James Cemetery on Fillmore Street. All four are mounted on original iron carriages.
The Guns of USS Kearsarge in 1894
When the USS Kearsarge grounded and sank on February 2nd, 1894 she was carrying two 8-Inch Muzzle Loading Rifles, four 9-Inch Dahlgrens, and one 5.3-Inch Breech Loading Rifle. The 8-Inch Muzzle Loading Rifle of USS Richmond in Lambertville, New Jersey
A US Navy 8-Inch Muzzle Loading Rifle which served in the 1870s and 1880s aboard the famous Civil War ship USS Richmond is displayed in front of a Civil War Memorial at Mary E. Sheridan Park in Lambertville, New Jersey. The cannon was converted from an 11-Inch Dahlgren in 1877. (The cannon had been originally cast in 1863.)

Four US Navy 30-Pounder Parrott Rifles are displayed at Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial in Camden, New Jersey.
