US Navy 9-Inch Dahlgren of USS Hartford in Cheboygan, Michigan
US Navy 9-Inch Dahlgren Number 225 is displayed in front of the Cheboygan County Courthouse in Cheboygan, Michigan. It served aboard USS Hartford from the ship’s commissioning in 1859 through the 1880s. It was cast by Cyrus Alger & Company in 1858. As manufactured it weighed 9,035 pounds. It is displayed on an original, post-war US Navy iron carriage. It is one of three 9-Inch Dahlgrens from USS Hartford displayed in northern Michigan, and one of eight associated with the ship to survive.
US Navy 30-Pounder Parrott Rifle Number 240 of USS Hartford
US Navy 30-Pounder Parrott Rifle Number 240 was listed aboard USS Hartford in a June of 1864 report. Therefore, this Parrott which is displayed in Freeport, New York on Long Island is a veteran of the Battle of Mobile Bay. It was cast at West Point Foundry in 1863 and weighed 3,470 pounds.

US Navy 9-Inch Dahlgren Number 229 was cast at Cyrus Alger and Company in 1858. It weighed 9,070 pounds as manufactured. According to US Navy records, it was placed aboard USS Hartford in 1859. It served with Hartford until 1887 when it was removed at Mare Island. It is displayed nearby in Independence Park on the waterfront in Vallejo, California.

It served with Hartford until 1887 when it was removed at Mare Island. It remains at Mare Island and is displayed there in Alden Park.
