The three Columbiads are:
US Army 15-Inch Rodman manufactured by Seyfert, McManus, and Co. in 1864. Weight as manufactured is 49612 pounds, and the registry number is 6.
CS Army 8-Inch Columbiad Number 45 manufactured by Bellona Foundry in 1862. Weight is marked is 8750 pounds.
CS Army 8-Inch Columbiad Number 49 manufactured by Bellona Foundry in 1862. Weight is marked is 8750 pounds.
The presence of two Confederate 8-Inch Columbiads which borrowed Rodman’s shape but not his hollow casting technique at Rodman’s grave is interesting.
