White Point Garden on New Years Day
US Navy 11-Inch Dahlgren Number 235 at White Point Garden in Charleston, South Carolina
On New Year’s Day I visited White Point Garden (known locally as “The Battery”) to see the sunrise and see the park after a nearly two-year update of the sea wall around it which had turned the whole area into a construction site. It was nice to see the construction barriers down. Below are a few photos from my visit. The original posts on each of these guns remain:
